The White House Hosts Third AI Education Task Force Meeting with Educators and Parents

Source: US Whitehouse

WASHINGTON – On Thursday, December 11th, 2025, Assistant to the President and OSTP Director Michael Kratsios chaired the third White House Artificial Intelligence (AI) Education Task Force meeting with cabinet officials, educators, and parents to discuss AI’s impact in the classroom.

Today’s Task Force meeting aimed to connect Administration officials with parents and educators to discuss the opportunities and challenges presented by AI in K-12 education. During the meeting, Task Force members heard from Chris Woolard with the Ohio Department of Education, Adeel Khan, the founder and CEO of Magic School, and Tina Descovish, Co-Founder of Moms for Liberty.

“The goal in all of our AI education efforts is to demystify these amazing technologies. If America’s families, young people, and educators know how AI works, then they can understand what the technology is good at, and good for, and what it’s bad at, and bad for, and why. When they understand these tools, then they can fully take advantage of AI applications with confidence and responsibility,” said OSTP Director Kratsios.

Task Force members include the Director of OSTP, the Secretary of Agriculture, the Secretary of Labor, the Secretary of Education, the Secretary of Energy, the Director of the National Science Foundation, the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, the Special Advisor for AI & Crypto, and the Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff to the First Lady.

Director Michael Kratsios also highlighted the Presidential AI Challenge which encourages educators and students to develop their AI literacy. Since the announcement of the challenge, over 5,000 students and 1,000 educators have registered across all 50 states.

This Task Force meeting builds upon President Trump’s Executive Order on Advancing Artificial Intelligence Education for American Youth, and America’s AI Action Plan. For more information about the White House Task Force on AI Education, visit https://www.ai.gov/initiatives/education.

President Trump Delivers Progress on Lowering Costs — With Much More Relief on the Way

Source: US Whitehouse

Since taking office, President Donald J. Trump has made substantial progress reversing the inflation and cost-of-living disaster he inherited from the recklessness of the Biden Administration. Inflation has been cut by more than half, gas prices have fallen sharply, real wages are growing again, and key household expenses are finally heading in the right direction.

But President Trump is also clear: there is still important work ahead to ensure every American feels the full benefit of lower costs. While Democrats attempt to con Americans into believing they’re the champions of affordability, the reality is that Democrats created the problem — and President Trump is stopping at nothing to fix it.

On inflation

President Trump tamed Biden’s inflation crisis — and is working to bring it down further.

  • Under Biden, inflation averaged nearly 5% and hit 9.1% amid the worst inflation crisis in decades — fueled by the Radical Left’s obsession with spending.
  • In President Trump’s second term, inflation has dropped to an average of just 2.7% — the critical first step in reversing Democrats’ cost-of-living disaster. In fact, under President Trump, Americans have even seen the first overall price decline since 2020.

On wages…

Under President Trump, Americans have made real wage gains — and work continues on reversing the damage they suffered under Biden.

  • Under Biden, Americans workers lost over $2,900 in purchasing power because inflation rose faster than wages.
  • In President Trump’s second term — even after accounting for higher prices — Americans’ real wages have grown by nearly 4% — or nearly $700 — and are on track to grow by nearly $1,200 after his first full year in office.

On gas prices…

Americans are spending less on gas than they have in years — and this is only the beginning.

  • Under Biden, gas prices were the highest they had ever been — even after he drained our strategic reserves to artificially decrease prices.
  • In President Trump’s second term, gas prices have fallen to the lowest average price in 1,682 days and Americans on track to spend the lowest amount of their disposable income on gas in the last two decades. In fact, average gas prices have dipped below $3 per gallon in 36 states, below $2.75 per gallon in 20 states, and below $2.50 per gallon in five states — with prices below $2 per gallon at some stations in at least four states.

On housing costs…

Housing affordability is finally trending in the right direction.

  • Under Biden, mortgage rates hit their highest in decades as rents surged.
  • At the beginning of December, the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate was 6.19% — 12% lower than when President Trump took office in January. According to the Consumer Price Index, shelter inflation is at a four-year low, and the national median rent has fallen for four straight months.

On grocery prices…

Prices for everyday staples are starting to see price declines — and there’s much more to come.

  • Under President Trump, prices for eggs, butter, ice cream, fresh fruit, cereal, fish, seafood, rice, pasta, and ham have all seen declines.

On everything else…

The Trump Administration’s whole-of-government effort will continue driving prices down, boosting take-home pay, and strengthening the economy so all Americans can feel relief.

  • President Trump signed into law the largest tax cuts in American history. This includes No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, and No Tax on Social Security — all of which will save Americans money in their tax returns. This landmark legislation will raise Americans’ take-home pay by as much as $13,300 and wages by as much as $11,600. In fact, thanks to the landmark law, millions of Americans will see higher tax refunds — with the average refund estimated to increase by about $1,000 per filer.
  • President Trump’s deregulatory efforts are saving Americans a collective $180 billion — or $2,100 per family of four. For example, President Trump halted burdensome Biden-era efficiency standards that jacked up the price of everyday appliances.
  • American consumers are thriving. Consumer sentiment is back on the rise and small business optimism is spiking amid record holiday shoppers and sales.
  • President Trump is bringing jobs and investment back to the U.S. Since President Trump took office, companies have invested trillions of dollars into their U.S.-based operations — onshoring and creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs for Americans.
  • 1.9 million more American-born workers are employed today than when President Trump took office. Right now, the U.S. has more people working now than at any time in the history of our country.
  • President Trump is reducing the deficit. A combination of spending cuts, interest savings, economic growth, and tariff revenues are expected to reduce the deficit by trillions of dollars — resulting in higher take-home pay, lower interest rates, and a stronger economy.

The Trump Administration will not rest until the high prices that resulted from Democrat policies are fully reined in. We’re making progress — and the best is yet to come.

President Trump’s Politico Interview: Democrats Lost Control — I Took it Back

Source: US Whitehouse

In a wide-ranging interview with Politico, President Donald J. Trump reflected on the progress of his second term as it approaches the one-year mark — detailing how he is reversing the economic wreckage left by Biden, unleashing an investment surge, slamming the door on illegal border crossings and maritime drug smuggling, and restoring an America First posture abroad.

Here are some of the key moments:

  • “The Democrats love to say, ‘Affordability, affordability,’ but then they never talk about it. They’re the ones that gave us the high prices. I’m the one that’s bringing them down.” (Watch)
  • “I inherited a total mess. Prices were at an all-time high when I came in. Prices are coming down… Look at energy.” (Watch)
  • “We have $18 trillion being invested. Car companies are moving back that left us years ago. AI is coming in at levels never seen before. Factories are opening up all over the country… Ultimately, you know what it reduces itself to? Jobs. You’re going to have jobs like you’ve never seen in the United States.” (Watch)
  • “When I go on a trip, I only have one place in mind — it’s the United States… Most of my time is spent here, but when I do go outside, it’s only going outside for here. For instance, settling and solving the problem with China. That has a huge effect in the United States.” (Watch)
  • “I want to see people that contribute. I don’t want to see Somalia. I don’t want to see a woman that marries her brother… then becomes a congressman and does nothing but complain.” (Watch)
  • “Two years ago, a year ago, under Biden, this country was out of control; millions of people pouring through, totally unchecked, totally unvetted. And now, we have nobody coming in… Nobody ever talks about that anymore. They should talk about that.”  (Watch)
  • “Obamacare was set up for insurance companies to become rich… They’ve been paid trillions — not billions — trillions of dollars and what I’m saying is very simple: I don’t want to pay them anything. No money for the insurance companies… I want to pay the money directly to the people and let the people get their own healthcare. But you know who’s fighting me on that? The Democrats.” (Watch)
  • “Trillions of dollars goes to the insurance companies. I want that money to go to the people and let the people go out and buy their own healthcare. It works like magic, but you know who doesn’t want it? The Democrats because they’re corrupt people — because they’re totally owned and bought by the insurance companies.” (Watch)
  • “[Zelensky] is going have to get on the ball and start accepting things… because they’re losing. They’ve lost territory — long before I got here… You certainly wouldn’t say it’s a victory.” (Watch)
  • “I hate to see young, beautiful people being killed.” (Watch)
  • “I have no vision for Europe. All I want to see is a strong Europe. I have a vision for the United States — America First. It’s ‘Make America Great Again.’” (Watch)
  • “We save 25,000 people every time we knock out a boat. On average, they kill 25,000 Americans. I don’t like doing that, but the drugs coming in through the sea — they’re down by 92 percent… Nobody wants to drive boats to America loaded up with drugs anymore.” (Watch)
  • “[Birthright citizenship] was meant for the babies of slaves… That case was not meant for some rich person coming from another country, putting a foot in our country, and all of a sudden their whole family becomes United States citizens.” (Watch)
  • “I’m one of the people that survived, but they weaponized the government. We had the most weaponized government… They indicted me. I came out good — here we are in the White House. Things are looking nice, but they were vicious… They’re sick people.” (Watch)

Gas Prices Plunge to New Multi-Year Low — and They’re Trending Lower ⛽

Source: US Whitehouse

The nationwide average for regular gas is at its lowest level in 1,681 days — and trending lower. According to GasBuddy, average gas prices have dipped below $3 per gallon in 37 states, below $2.75 per gallon in 22 states, and below $2.50 per gallon in five states.

In fact, Americans can even find gas below $2 per gallon at some stations in at least four states — with prices as low as $1.69 per gallon in Colorado.

Under Biden, gas prices were the highest they had ever been, even after he drained our strategic reserves to artificially decrease prices. So far in President Trump’s second term, Americans on track to spend the lowest amount of their disposable income on gas in the last two decades amid the Trump Administration’s pursuit of American energy dominance.

It’s part of an emerging trend of strong economic news, backed up by data. In just the past week, Americans saw the national median rent fall for the fourth straight month, weekly jobless claims plumet to a three-year low, mortgage rates near their lowest level in a year, and consumer sentiment spike.

That’s all good news for American consumers — and much more progress is on the way. After four years of Biden’s reckless spending, open borders, and anti-energy policies that drove inflation through the roof and crushed working families, the momentum is now unmistakably in the right direction — and the Trump Administration will stop at nothing to make sure all Americans feel relief.

Presidential Message on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Source: US Whitehouse

Today, I recognize every American celebrating December 8 as a Holy Day honoring the faith, humility, and love of Mary, mother of Jesus and one of the greatest figures in the Bible.

On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Catholics celebrate what they believe to be Mary’s freedom from original sin as the mother of God.  She first entered recorded history as a young woman when, according to Holy Scripture, the Angel Gabriel greeted her in the village of Nazareth with news of a miracle: “Hail, favored one!  The Lord is with you,” announcing that “you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus.”

In one of the most profound and consequential acts of history, Mary heroically accepted God’s will with trust and humility:  “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.  May it be done to me according to your word.”  Mary’s decision forever altered the course of humanity.  Nine months later, God became man when Mary gave birth to a son, Jesus, who would go on to offer his life on the Cross for the redemption of sins and the salvation of the world.

For nearly 250 years, Mary has played a distinct role in our great American story.  In 1792, less than a decade after the end of the Revolutionary War, Bishop John Carroll—the first Catholic bishop in the United States and cousin of signer of the Declaration of Independence Charles Carroll—consecrated our young Nation to the mother of Christ.  Less than a quarter-century later, Catholics attributed General Andrew Jackson’s stunning victory over the British in the climactic Battle of New Orleans to Mary.  Every year, Catholics celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving in New Orleans on January 8 in memory of Mary’s assistance in saving the city.

Over the ages, American legends like Elizabeth Ann Seton, Frances Xavier Cabrini, and Fulton Sheen, who spent their lives glorifying God in service to others, have held a deep devotion to Mary.  The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, located in the heart of our Nation’s Capital, honors Mary as the largest church in North America.  The timeless hymn “Ave Maria” remains beloved by countless citizens.  She has inspired the establishment of countless churches, hospitals, and schools.  Nearly 50 American colleges and universities bear Mary’s name.  And, just days from now, on December 12, Catholics in the United States and Mexico will celebrate the steadfast devotion to Mary that originated in the heart of Mexico—a place now home to the beautiful Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe—in 1531.  As we approach 250 years of glorious American Independence, we acknowledge and give thanks, with total gratitude, for Mary’s role in advancing peace, hope, and love in America and beyond our shores.

More than a century ago, in the midst of World War I, Pope Benedict XV, the leader of the Roman Catholic Church, commissioned and dedicated a majestic statue of Mary, Queen of Peace, bearing the infant Christ with an olive branch so that the Christian faithful would be encouraged to look to her example of peace by praying for a stop to the horrific slaughter.  Just a few months later, World War I ended.  Today, we look to Mary once again for inspiration and encouragement as we pray for an end to war and for a new and lasting era of peace, prosperity, and harmony in Europe and throughout the world.

In her honor, and on a day so special to our Catholic citizens, we remember the sacred words that have brought aid, comfort, and support to generations of American believers in times of need:

Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.  Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

Fact Sheet: President Donald J. Trump Addresses Security Risks from Price Fixing and Anti-Competitive Behavior in the Food Supply Chain

Source: US Whitehouse

PROTECTING AMERICA’S FOOD SUPPLY AND FAMILY BUDGETS: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to stop price fixing, anti-competitive behavior, and foreign influence that drives up grocery prices and threatens the security of America’s food supply.

  • The Order directs the Attorney General and the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission to each establish a Food Supply Chain Security Task Force within their respective agencies to aggressively investigate price fixing and anti-competitive practices across the food sector.
  • Both Task Forces are empowered to bring enforcement actions and propose new rules to stop anti-competitive behavior and restore competition.
  • The Attorney General is directed to pursue criminal proceedings, including grand jury investigations, if evidence of criminal collusion is uncovered.
  • The Task Forces will jointly consult with relevant members of Congress in six months and then one year from the date of the order to provide progress updates subject to applicable law and recommend appropriate Congressional action, if any.

STOPPING PRICE FIXING AND FOREIGN CONTROL: President Trump understands that an affordable and secure food supply is vital to America’s national and economic security, but that anti-competitive behavior threatens its stability and affordability.

  • In recent years, major players in America’s food supply chain have paid tens of millions to settle price fixing lawsuits.
  • Sectors including meat processing, seed, fertilizer, and farm equipment may be vulnerable to anti-competitive manipulation that result in higher prices for farmers and consumers.
  • Foreign-controlled companies are increasingly involved in key segments, potentially creating national security risks and driving up the cost of food for American families—issues the Task Forces are specifically directed to investigate.
  • Without aggressive enforcement, price fixing and anti-competitive behavior will continue to inflate grocery bills and weaken America’s food independence.

DELIVERING LOWER COSTS FOR AMERICAN FAMILIES: President Trump is fighting every day to reverse Biden’s inflation crisis and bring down sky-high grocery prices – and he will not rest until every American feels the relief at the checkout line.

  • On Day One, President Trump declared a National Energy Emergency to eliminate bureaucratic barriers, unleash innovation, and restore America’s position as the world’s leading energy producer.
  • In July, President Trump signed the largest tax cuts in American history, leaving families with thousands more in their pockets each year.
  • Last month, President Trump directed the Department of Justice to launch an investigation into the nation’s largest meat packing companies for potential collusion, price fixing, and price manipulation.
  • By halting proposed Biden-era regulations, President Trump has already saved Americans over $180 billion, or $2,100 per family of four.
  • Under Biden, workers lost over $2,900 in purchasing power — meaning inflation rose faster than wages. Under President Trump, even after accounting for higher prices, real wages have grown by $700 and are on track to increase by $1,200 after his first full year.
  • While lower prices can’t happen overnight, we’re making big progress and will keep working to make sure everyone benefits.

Addressing Security Risks from Price Fixing and Anti-Competitive Behavior in the Food Supply Chain

Source: US Whitehouse

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered:

Section 1Background.  An affordable and secure food supply is vital to America’s national and economic security.  However, anti-competitive behavior, especially when carried out by foreign-controlled corporations, threatens the stability and affordability of America’s food supply.  In recent years certain companies in the American food supply chain have even settled civil suits accusing them of price fixing for tens of millions of dollars.  Food supply sectors including meat processing, seed, fertilizer, and equipment have similar vulnerabilities to price fixing and other anti-competitive practices.  My Administration will act to determine whether anti-competitive behavior, especially by foreign-controlled companies, increases the cost of living for Americans and address any associated national security threat to food supply chains.

Sec. 2.  Food Supply Chain Security Task Forces to Protect Competition.  (a)  The Attorney General and the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission shall each establish a Food Supply Chain Security Task Force within the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, respectively, that will take all necessary and appropriate actions to investigate food-related industries within their established areas of expertise and determine whether anti-competitive behavior exists in food supply chains in the United States, as well as whether control of food-related industries by foreign entities is increasing the cost of food products in the United States or creating a national or economic security threat to Americans.  The Attorney General and the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission shall take such actions as are necessary to remedy any anti-competitive behavior that their respective investigations uncover, including bringing enforcement actions and proposing new regulatory approaches.  Should the Department of Justice Food Supply Chain Security Task Force uncover any evidence of criminal collusion, the Attorney General shall commence criminal proceedings as appropriate, including grand jury investigations.

(b)  The Task Forces shall, as permitted by law, jointly brief the Speaker of the House, the Majority Leader of the Senate, and the chairs of congressional committees of jurisdiction with a summary of their progress pursuant to this order once within 180 days following the date of this order, and again within 365 days following the date of this order, including, if relevant after consulting with the Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Legislative, Political, and Public Affairs, any recommended congressional actions.  Such briefings shall not include any information related to ongoing investigations, prosecutions, regulatory actions, or litigation nor any non‑public information regarding any food-related industry investigated pursuant to this order.

Sec. 3.  General Provisions.  (a)  Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:

(i)   the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or

(ii)  the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.

(b)  This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

(c)  This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

(d)  The costs for publication of this order shall be borne by the Department of Justice.

America 250: Presidential Message on the Anniversary of the Ratification of the 13th Amendment

Source: US Whitehouse

On this day 160 years ago, the United States of America ratified the 13th Amendment of the Constitution, immortalizing a self-evident principle that stirred the hearts of patriots and forever changed the course of history:  “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”

Today, our Nation proudly recognizes the ratification of the 13th Amendment as a morally defining moment in our great American story—and we recommit to upholding our country’s long-cherished principles of freedom, equal justice under the law, and the God-given dignity of the human person.

In his legendary Gettysburg Address, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed that our Nation was “conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.”  Guided by this principle, on January 1, 1863, he formally issued the Emancipation Proclamation to declare freedom for enslaved people.  Yet, the abolitionist cause was not fully complete without a constitutional solution.

Tragically, President Lincoln’s devotion to our founding principles cost him his life 8 months before the amendment to formally abolish slavery was ratified by three-fourths of the states—and he never lived to see the end of slavery on our shores.  Today, his immortal memory continues to live on in our hearts—and his timeless example of justice, unity, and statesmanship continues to inspire citizens all across our country.  To further President Lincoln’s vision, my Administration is working tirelessly to ensure that America will always be guided by the principles he cherished so deeply and that we will remain the freest, safest, and most prosperous Nation in the history of the world.

As we prepare to celebrate 250 years of glorious American independence, we honor the heroes who paved the path for the end of slavery on our land—and we applaud the brave men and women of the abolitionist movement who dedicated their lives to upholding the American promise.  Above all, we acknowledge that freedom’s triumph over tyranny on December 6, 1865, stands as an enduring reminder that America was, is, and will forever be a great Nation.

Presidential Message on the Eighth Anniversary of Recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital of the State of Israel

Source: US Whitehouse

On December 6, 2017, during my first term in office, I proudly signed a proclamation to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and to relocate the United States Embassy to that marvelous city—a transformative step forward in the pursuit of peace in the Middle East.  Today, 8 years later, my Administration renews its commitment to ushering in a new era of peace, prosperity, and stability in the region and all around the world.

For centuries, Jerusalem has been a sacred city of pilgrimage and worship for Jews, Christians, and Muslims, revered for its rich history and deep biblical origins.  Since the establishment of the modern State of Israel in 1948, Jerusalem has served as its cultural and religious heart and the seat of its government.  However, for decades, weak politicians refused to formally recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital—despite Congress voting to support the action—because they believed that moving our embassy would harm the cause of peace in the region.  Yet delaying the recognition brought us no closer to a lasting peace agreement and showed that repeating the same approach to old challenges produces only the same failed results.  In recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and moving our embassy to that beautiful city, we acknowledged the rightful capital that stands at the heart of Israel’s traditions, government, and heritage—and now we stand on the doorstep of one of the greatest diplomatic achievements in history as a strong, durable, and everlasting peace is emerging across the Middle East.

We further strengthened this commitment to peace during my first term by brokering the historic Abraham Accords, acknowledging Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and securing groundbreaking peace agreements between Israel and other Arab-Muslim countries.

Ever since I returned to office as the 47th President of the United States, my Administration has built upon these unprecedented achievements by once again leading the world with courage, strength, and resolve—setting the stage for lasting peace in regions around the world marked by long-standing conflict.  I am proud to have led a significant peace agreement between the State of Israel and Hamas to end more than 2 years of profound suffering and loss, secure the full liberation of all hostages, and deliver humanitarian relief to the communities affected by this deadly war.  This monumental agreement is a massive leap toward an enduring peace for the Israeli and Palestinian people—one that ensures security, brings stability, and offers hope for generations to come.

As President, I will always work tirelessly to bring peace to conflicts in every region and on every continent—and my Administration will never waver in promoting a foreign policy of peace through strength.

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, 2025

Source: US Whitehouse

class=”has-text-align-center”>BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

A PROCLAMATION

On December 7, 1941, a peaceful Sunday morning on the Hawaiian island of Oahu was shattered by an unprovoked attack by the naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan on the United States Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor and the aircraft and hangars at Kaneohe, Ford Island, Barbers Point, and Hickam Field.  The surprise offensive claimed the lives of 2,403 American service members and civilians and propelled our Nation into the Second World War.

The Japanese mission was designed to cripple our military assets and obliterate the American spirit, but instead, the fatal attacks rallied our shattered citizenry and fueled our resolve.  Young men from every corner of our country put their lives and futures on hold and were thrust into bloody and brutal battles of historic consequence that would forever change the world.  Although untested in battle, these patriots, still reeling from horror and disbelief, united in a singular mission:  to defeat tyranny.  The exceptional courage and immeasurable sacrifices of the Greatest Generation secured our way of life and the blessings of freedom for future generations.

In the decades since the “date which will live in infamy,” the aggressor has become our loyal ally and trusted friend.  Japan is one of our closest security partnerships, and our military forces work together every day to defend our common interests.  We are united by commerce, history, culture, and mutual respect.  Our strong alliance is a testament to the transformational power of peace, diplomacy, and democracy.

The lessons learned 84 years ago on that fateful day still resound with America’s exceptional fighting force.  We must remain ever vigilant and prepared to annihilate any foe who dares to threaten our liberty.  This annual day of remembrance must be held in the highest esteem and reverence as we honor the Americans who laid down their lives to defend our homeland on the island of Oahu and in the battles of World War II.

The Congress, by Public Law 103-308, as amended, has designated December 7 of each year as “National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.”

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim December 7, 2025, as National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.  I encourage all Americans to observe this solemn day and to honor our military, past and present, with appropriate ceremonies and activities.  I urge all Federal agencies and interested organizations, groups, and individuals to fly the flag of the United States at half-staff in honor of those American patriots who died as a result of their service at Pearl Harbor.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this fifth day of December, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-five, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and fiftieth.

                               DONALD J. TRUMP
